Host and
produce
daily Jazz/Blues and Sunday eclectic/Jazz/world music shows. Select music,
interview guests including national/regional music and stage performers,
art and music educators, local celebrities and arts/music festival
organizers. Recording artists interviewed include: Dr. Billy Taylor, Dave
Brubeck, Ellis Marsalis, Carla They & Steve Swallow, Bruce Hornsby,
Marian MacPartland, Cyrus Chestnut. Serve as on-air fundraising talent
during radio and TV membership drives. Increase audience and awareness
through education (Jazz appreciation), performance, and public
appearance.

establishing Jazz music as a living part of the Hampton Roads
(southeastern Virginia) cultural community. Received Composer's Grant from
the Virginia Commission for the Arts.
